Job Summary~
Provides private instruction to individual or small groups of students to improve academic performance, occupational skills, or prepare for academic or occupational tests.

Teaches students study skills, note-taking skills, and test-taking strategies.

Assesses students' progress throughout tutoring sessions.

Collaborates with students, parents, teachers, school administrators, or counselors to determine students needs, develop tutoring plans, and assess students progress.

Communicates progress to students, parents or teachers in written progress reports, in person, by phone, or by email.

Develops teaching or training materials, such as handouts, study materials, or quizzes.

Identifies, develops, or implements intervention strategies, tutoring plans, or individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.

Prepares lesson plans or learning modules for tutoring sessions according to students' needs and goals.
 
Job Qualifications
Education: Knowledgeable in subject matter.
Experience: 3-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven track record of dependability and professionalism.
Willing to travel to specified area for tutoring with reliable transportation.
Must be 18 years old with valid car insurance and provide driving record.
Must have access to the internet and computer.
